"BOOK OF GENESIS (PART A)"
Not only is the Book of Genesis one of the most important books ever written, it is also one of the greatest epic adventures of all time! Simply put, Genesis is a masterpiece of world literature. In our study of Genesis we are embarking on a journey that will take us all the way back to the beginning, to times primeval and ancient. But this journey will only be the first of many that God's Story tells us. This journey is one that will ultimately take us into Eternity. What the Book of Genesis begins for us is really a never-ending story! Come now; let's now take this journey together.
"FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD JOHN & JUDE"
The authors call readers back to the three basics of being a disciple of Christ: true doctrine, obedient living, and fervent devotion. We are assured the One who lives in and among us - God's Son - is greater than the spirit of "the antichrist" in the world. Through the books of John and Jude this call seeks to challenge the student to refine theological understanding, sharpen ethical rigor, and heighten devotional intensity. Additional subjects will include living in the love of God, remaining steadfast in the fact of opposition, and contending for the one true faith.
This class will take an introductory look into both Old and New Testament geography, and will begin in the Pre-Flood era and end with the first century. You will learn where Mizpah and Ai are, how many miles it was from Ur to Bethel, and how long it would take to walk from Dan to Jerusalem, plus much more.
"MY NEW LIFE IN CHRIST"
This class is offered for new Christians, and begins by discussing what being a new citizen in Christ means, and will discuss authority, the church, loving each other, worship, giving, singing, prayer, Bible study, growth, good works, trials and endurance. The purpose of the class is to help us understand what it means, from a practical standpoint, to live and honor God now that I'm a Christian.
